随着中科炼化项目建设的加快推进，项目磁吸效应日益凸显，湛江开发区围绕“五大产业发展计划”加强招商选资又传喜讯：11月10日下午，开发区与中科炼化公司开展联合招商，三家石化业界知名企业将在东海岛石化园区投资建设10多个项目。市委常委、开发区党委书记梁培，中科炼化公司总经理吴惜伟等出席招商座谈会。

据了解，将落户东海岛的项目分别是广东众和化塑有限公司10万吨/年粗苯加氢和化工粒料重膜包装袋、石蜡、硫硫包装袋的生产服务等5个项目;广东新华粤石化集团股份有限公司20万吨/年二氧化碳废气回收等5个项目;茂名石化实华股份有限公司2.5吨/年碳五加氢石油树脂等4个项目。上述项目建成投产后，将与中科炼化项目形成产业链条，有效实现资源再生利用，促进石化园区循环经济发展。

会上，广东众和化塑有限公司、茂名石化实华股份有限公司、广东新华粤石化集团股份有限公司分别介绍其公司的经营管理情况和项目投资意向。各公司纷纷表示，希望尽快落户东海岛石化园区，与中科炼化公司加快推进配套产业合作项目，实现互补共赢。

栽好梧桐树，引得凤凰来。中科炼化项目于2016年12月开始全面动工，计划2019年投产。开发区在全力服务好中科炼化项目加快建设的同时，大力拓展石化产业链，着力打造具有世界先进水平的特大型石化基地，规划建设37平方公里石化产业园，聘请新加坡知名公司优化园区规划，并以中科炼化项目为龙头，重点瞄准国际跨国化工企业、国内大型央属化工龙头企业，实施图谱招商、定向招商、精准招商、以商引商，延伸石化产业链。目前，京信东海电厂、神州长城鹏尊项目、东海岛港区公共码头等一批项目已落户园区。
