日前，美国缅因州通过了一项禁令以约束阻燃剂在家具中的使用，该禁令将于2019年1月1日生效。

　　据悉，新禁令规定从2019年1月1日起，布艺家具的织物、其他覆盖物或者软垫物料所含的阻燃剂化学物浓度超过0.1%，或所含的阻燃剂化学物混合物浓度超过0.1%，则不得在州内销售及分销。禁令中把“布艺家具”定义为专供住宅或其他居所在室内使用的住宅家具，整件或局部包含弹性软垫物料，并以布料或相关物料的覆盖物包住的家具;“阻燃剂化学物”则指可以抵御或抑制火势蔓延的化学物或化合物，包括但不限于卤化、磷基、氮基和纳米级的阻燃剂，以及根据美国联邦法典第29卷第1910.1200(g)(2015)部规定所制定的物质安全数据表中为“阻燃剂”的任何化学物或化合物。

　　缅因州这项禁令基本上涵盖了住宅布艺家具内的各类有毒阻燃化学物。目前，全美只有缅因州通过这项禁令，缅因州环境保护部表示，为了有效执行该规定，将要制定产品标签和制造商注册程序，以及认证的产品采样和测试程序。

　　对此，广州检验检疫局提醒相关家具出口企业，密切关注美国家具阻燃剂的禁令动态。同时，合理选择家具的垫物料和面布料，提升家具制造的环保水平，加强自检自控管理水平，确保布艺家具等出口产品符合出口目标国各项要求。

The Maine bans basically cover all types of toxic and flame retardant chemicals in residential fabric furniture.
